Happy Memorial Day

I would like to thank all the service men and women past and present for all they sacrifice for us and our country. Without them we would not be free, for freedom is not free.

God Bless America!

(Our daughter took theses pictures at the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial in France.)

Here's a Wonderful Masculine Card

Once again, Susan made this card. I love it and will be coping her idea for Father's Day cards for sure! Susan, you sure were on a roll this past weekend! Way to go! We all know how hard it is to make cool masculine cards and I think this one hits a home run!
As usual, if you want more info on the cuts used for this card, click here to visit our gallery.
Have a great day!

Another Beautiful Card by Susan

I think Susan may have a real gift for making wedding cards! I am in love with this one! ( I am a sucker for the color red, hearts AND this verse.)
If you want to see the inside of this card (btw it has a very cute heart she also made from wire,) click here to visit our gallery and see more detail.

See you all again soon,

Beautiful Wedding Card

I just wanted to do a quick post here and show everyone out there this amazing card Susan made today. I think it is so beautiful and elegant.

Here's the inside...I love how Susan made the bottom section show on both the front and the inside of the card. She used the Winter Woodland cart for this project. If you want specifics on the cuts, please check out our gallery here

Hope everyone is having a blessed day!

A Card by Susan

Earlier this week Susan (my partner in crafting madness) made the cutest card for her sister. I thought I'd share it with the world out there, all the cartridge info is in our Gallery.  I think it's so pretty! Great job Susan!
Hope you all have a great day! Remember, it's "Hello Thursday" today, so I'll post again in a bit when Provo Craft announces the new "line up."
Blessings,

Happy Sunday

I am so glad last week is over and we are on to a new week! Thankfully my daughter is done with college for a couple of months, maybe now I can use my car more often! Here are some pictures from the projects I worked on this past week...
This first one is a set of "just because" cards I made to send a dear friend who adores pandas...

this is a birthday card for my Sister-in-law. I decided to try something new by using the flower vine border...
and finally, here's a little fishing sign I made to go on a layout, I really like how the inking turned out...
There is more information about the cartridges used on these projects and others in our Gallery.
Thankfully the two people I'm sending the cards to don't know about our blog yet, so they won't see these yet!
I Hope everyone has a great week! It's Provocraft's "Hello Thursday" this week, so I'll be back later in the week with all the new releases.

I heart Photoshop Elements 8

So I downloaded a 21 day trial of Photoshop Elements 8 a few weeks back and instantly fell in love. I have been editing pictures and creating graphics like a mad woman. My dear sweet hubby surprised me last night when he brought home the full version (my trial is about to expire.) Yeah!!!! I'm so excited! I guess yesterday was early Mother's Day because my daughter also brought me some yummy smelly goodies from Bath and Body Works....Yeah for that too! I have such a sweet family!
Hope you all have a great day!

Pink Stamper Challenge #12

Here's my last and final submission to the Pink Stamper's challenges for NSD. This one was to make something with a critter on it. Well I had fully intended to make something with a cat on it (because if you know me at all you know I'm obsessed with cats - especially mine.) Well the cat cuts I have right now were just not "calling" to me, so I decided to go a whole different direction. I love the little squirrel in Winter Woodland and I figured this would make a cute layout using the pictures of my daughter, her boyfriend, and her beloved old typewriter. She'll probably kill me for posting these pictures, but I am a mom, so what can I say!

Pink Stamper Challenge #7

Here's another submission from the Pink Stamper Challenge. This one was to make something about or for the guys out there. These are actually pages that go with my previous post, but I think they really express my two guys. My son was so excited to get his first robot and build it with his dad, it's been great for both of them!

Pink Stamper Challenge #9

Here is my submission for Pink Stamper's Challenge #9, to make something shaped. I don't have a Gypsy or Design Studio, so this is the closest I can get to a shaped page right now. Circles and dots were the background theme on this page, even embossed all the words with the circles and dots. This is one page of 4 that go together, it's been a robot kind of day here!

Thanks for looking!

It's Time to Get Scrappy!

I'm so excited, it's National Scrapbooking Day! Susan is coming over to play in the craft room with me, yippee! Pink Stamper and Everyday Cricut are giving away some great prizes today. Many of the online craft retailers have great sales this weekend as well, it's a scrapper's delight!
I hope you all have a great day!
